And I’m here with a very special guest today who’s going to talk all about how coaching can accelerate your career and your life. So before we get into that, I really just want you to invite you to open your mind to what’s possible, because I think sometimes when you hear me sharing that it’s possible for women to have it all and you can earn more money, and you can apply for more senior roles and all that stuff. To bring it to life. We need stories. And today I have a great story for you, which is with one of my amazing ladies in 360 liters club. Lisa, Lisa Miller. So Lisa, do you want to introduce yourself to our listeners, tell us who you are, what your industry is and what you do? Sure.
1:39
So my name is Lisa Miller, I am the mom of two amazing kids, that’s probably the most important part. I work in the medical device industry in quality. So I’m a senior Quality Manager in the medical device industry. And I have been in that industry now for 12 years. 12
1:57
years. Wow. And was like what’s the most challenging thing for you? First of all, it’s like you’re a busy mom, you’re working. And you’re a company is like a big multinational, too, right? Tell us about that part.
2:08
The biggest challenges are probably that kind of juggling everything. So my husband works full time in a big multinational organization. And I work across multiple time zones. So I have colleagues in the states in Shanghai and Australia so that managing your time can be quite quite challenging at times and making sure kids get to school on time at lunches surveyed and all that jazz that goes with us. So that’s probably my biggest challenge is time management and making sure everything gets done. Like every
2:39
single woman on the planet. But we I think we I think women though, I just think sometimes we’re our own worst enemies in the sense that we tend to take on a lot and not delegate sometimes things that we should and I think that’s I think men are just so much better at it. The party think, Oh,
2:56
definitely. I mean, I even see, we we care more. So it was really like, I have to do all this stuff. Whereas I think men sometimes are much better at switching off in particular. That’s one thing I have always struggled with is switching off at the end of the workday and sort of being prevalent and more here for my family. So that that part I struggled with definitely a lot more than I think my husband.
3:19
Yeah, and I think that’s definitely definitely a woman thing. But I suppose just to kind of Firstly, I’m so glad that you’ve agreed to come on the show. And again, I wish we were just talking off air before we came on. Like the reason I wanted Lisa to come on the show is because I want to show you what’s possible. And Lisa wrote me a lovely LinkedIn recommendation, which I’m just going to read to you now. And then I just want to kind of dissect it a little bit with Lisa. So she can share the mindset blocks that she overcame to, I suppose break through the tools that she is using to support her on a school share a little bit about her experience in 360 liters clubs. So it’s not always me telling you guys about it. You can hear it from somebody who’s actually experiencing it. So Lisa had been working with me for over six months, and she has decided to sign up for another 12 months in 360. And I’m just reading her testimonial and DCU said it was one of the easiest decisions you made. So why was it an easy decision for you to decide to sign up to do another year in three, six years later slob.
4:22
I felt like with the first six months that I was just getting started. So it was that sort of feeling of just kind of getting to know the group so that the girls are there in the women that are in the group with us and kind of building those relationships, but also really just starting to see the benefit of the tools. So for anybody who’s thinking about doing coaching or any of this sort of work to know that it is work, like you have to do the work yourself. You have to apply them they don’t it’s a bit like the books in the back of on your bookshelf unless you read them and apply the learnings from them. They’re no good to you. So if I was just getting to that point Applying the tools and seeing some of the benefits for it. And I really didn’t want to give up the community. Yeah, the community. I
5:08
know, they’re amazing. I love you all so much. And I think that’s a really good point that you made. So maybe we might just kind of roll back a little bit, I suppose the reason you said that you you reached out is because you had a 360 review, we’re gonna read your testimonial here on you said that others had rated you much higher than you rated yourself. And that review was the catalyst for you to seek to seek change, because your confidence was at an all time low. You said working with me has given you so much more than confidence. You’ve got your network or tools, etc. So talk to me a little bit about the confidence piece. What was that shift for you in terms of why you wanted to invest in coaching? I suppose. So
5:47
yeah, like I said, I’m in the middle of doing a master’s part time. So it wasn’t busy enough working and two kids. And that part of that course, was a leadership module, and I did a 360 review. And when I got the results back, I almost cried for two reasons. One, some of the lovely comments that were written by my peers, and my boss, and people, I mean, it’s an anonymous feedback. But you know, there was some really lovely things written and then how I rated myself, and I had given myself such low scoring on all aspects of my leadership that wasn’t really reflected. But that wasn’t like the outside world was seeing me. And looking at that and just saying, Okay, everybody else is seeing this amazing person. And I’m sitting here, worrying and driving myself half crazy over every little detail, that just feeling like I wasn’t good enough, and that I didn’t have the skills to be a leader at this level, nevermind the next. And I just said, Okay, something has got to change. And all of the work of trying to do it on my own obviously wasn’t working. So I believe I contacted you on my birthday. I think that’s the first one. Actually,
6:59
yeah, you gifted yourself the gift of coating on your day. Yeah, birthday.
7:03
Yeah. So I mean, I had this amazing end of year review, which resulted in a bonus as multinationals like to do. And I said, Well, what better way to spend a bonus from all my hard work than investing in myself? So that’s why
7:20
I think I mean, there’s so many little things there. Like, you know, you are an amazing person, like, like I love that’s one thing I love about you guys, when you come into me, because I see it straightaway, I see the ambition, I see the drive, I see the talent, and I love just watching. Like I can see the difference in you and how you’re showing up in yourself like so. Talk to me about that shift, like how do you feel now in your confidence in yourself versus before you join 360?
7:46
It’s about who for me, it’s about not over analyzing everything and thinking that things had to be perfect. And sort of like not sending that email. What will they think? Or I shouldn’t bother that person? Or I think it’s a very Irish mentality sometimes. But who do I think I am? You know, you kind of have that sort of, we’re sort of, I don’t know, if it’s a Yeah, a cultural thing of don’t get too big for your boots, so that they and so it was, for me, that’s been the biggest shift, been able to just I just send the email, my poor boss was inundated with me, I was thinking we were talking yesterday, and maybe we should do that I would never have done it would agonize, and the moment would have been lost, you know, when you procrastinate, and you delay, and then you’re trying to send an email or maybe something you talked about two weeks ago, rather than doing it in the moment. So my own way, getting out of my own head, and just doing it, like literally just send an email, what’s the worst that can happen? Just ask the question, and
8:46
was like, hi, where did the mindset shifts come from? So like, I’m wondering, like, were there any specific tools that you learned? Or was it a specific coaching session that you remember? Or when was that shift? Because usually there’s some sort of an aha, do you remember? So
9:00
it started for me kind of gradually so definitely doing the the weekly celebrations that we do on a Friday so your weekend when focus one way to go actually, you know what? I actually did do stop you know, you get to the end of the week and we beat ourselves up over what went wrong what we didn’t do so that was kind of the start for me kind of well yeah, Jesus No, I did do this like got that done or whatever was that new that
9:23
was new for you to do
9:25
I was very new I fall mindset was always what what I did wrong rather than what I did by like quickly forgetting all the wins and just focusing on the misses and oddly enough, I don’t do that with other people. But what’s harsh?
9:41
We always are we always are smokers just so you know. We do a couple of things in 360 because I really want everyone to see their celebrate I know sometimes when when you start working with me at first and that you start every call I’ll be saying why why are we celebrating what’s going well, it’s time Totally not normal to think that way we tend to think in what’s wrong. Our brains have a negativity bias. So I am tactically and strategically asking these questions because I know it’s natural to me. So like, the reason I do that now is because I worked with coaches who are positive psychologists, I’m studying positive psychology now as well and starting a course very soon. And and the more you lean into positivity in that in a toxic Oh my God, the word is perfect, because it’s not. But more about, like Lisa said, just stopping and celebrating the wins, it actually reprograms your mind to start looking out for things you are doing right, as opposed to what you’re not doing. Right, doesn’t it?
10:39
Definitely. And then the other big shift for me was goal setting, and then doing that monthly reflect. So we all do this thing at the start of every year where you know, I want to whatever your New Year’s resolutions might be, and then you suddenly get to June and you go, Oh, God, I haven’t even thought about them. I was supposed to do XY and Z. So for me a big part was that I get distracted very easily. So my brain goes off in 20 million directions. And I’m constantly my husband read the words, I’ve been thinking because it usually means the bad scheme or plan for us to do. And that’s how my head works. So having done the vision board for a start, and you’re right, when So Lucy talks about us doing vision boards and doesn’t know you’re gonna think it’s a little bit we were when I was sitting there going, yeah. I haven’t done it and it’s up beside my destiny. What it does is it focuses my mind. So I look up and I go, okay, yes, my number one goal for this year is my health. That makes me take better small actions every day. To me, so whether it’s the vibrations in the universe, or just the fact that it’s just that reminder, that’s there that this is what I signed up to. And the doing the monthly reflection, something I never would have done before, to sit and look at all aspects, not just my work aspects, all aspects of my life might all go what’s going well, what do I need to work on? I find that had been a real driver for me.
12:10
Amazing. I think you’ve actually hit the nail on the head where they think the essence of what when you use tools like that and you join a membership or you work with a coach, a big reason for it is that you can find all the information I teach you on Google, you can find it not in the way I do it. But you can find some version, every course you do, nothing is truly original anymore. Unless it’s artificial intelligence. Everything is just different ways of teaching things. But when you invest in something like this, because I know I mean, like I have one coach, I have one I mean, one membership and one mastermind, I could find all of this stuff. But the reason I do it is for accountability, it’s for accountability, and it’s for so I don’t go off track. So I love that you said like they are big criteria for success, setting your goals and having a clear vision and vision. You know, I talk about it all the time. And then obviously, we do the we have the 360 Success Scorecard just in case people are going wonky reflect we have a scorecard that the girls do every month where they reflect on the seven areas for 360 degree success, which you learn in the 360 core training when you join the membership. And then every month is not just about $1, isn’t it not? It’s not like you learn in your garden. It’s all about constantly every month, being strategic taking a step off the hamster wheel and reflecting and I love that you have your vision board on your desk, I can see looking at it because that is going to be the thing that’s going to make the changes for you. Yeah, so
13:36
this this year with my first year doing like a vision board and like, what are we five, six weeks in now into the year I’m still like going? It just is as if it is that focusing my mind for someone. We’re all really busy. And generally as working parents, we’re thinking about 20 million things at the same time. So you might be on a team’s call and you’re like, the time you have to go collect some kid from school or to go do whatever it might be or what are we doing for dinner again? The usual so for me, it just kind of reminds me Oh, yeah. Okay, so this is what I’ve said is important. The other big thing for me that I’ve gotten from from the membership was I sort of fell into my career in quality in that I used to work in a different area and a different industry. And I was made redundant when I was expecting my first that my daughter, and as a result of that redundancy, I did a forced course and QA just because I needed to do something. And Alison was six months old and it was like okay, how am I gonna get it was 2010 not a good time to be unemployed. I’m pregnant. And I kind of ended up and I always had this idea that QA wasn’t my real career because even in interviews I realized I fell into it and then I got work experience and then it was kept on and then I went from contract to contract and slowly built a career from sitting and working and having Lucy asked me like to really think about one of my values, what do I get out of work? What? Where do I want to go? Maybe go actually, I really, really like what I do. And although I might have fallen into it, as I say myself accidentally, in a way, it actually really suits me. Things that I’m passionate about, I love working in an industry where we we help people in the medical device industry, and that my job plays a critical role in that. I don’t think I would have had that clarity. And I would have always been searching for, maybe I shouldn’t be doing something else. So getting that clarity, which also helps with your confidence, because then you start questioning.
15:40
Yeah, because I noticed a big shift in how you’re showing up, like in terms of even like, you know, your body language, you look happier, like, do you feel happier in yourself?
15:51
I do. Definitely, I still feel like like all recovering perfectionist, that there’s always more work to do, and that you’re never gonna get there. And that’s why this year, my focus is really on my health, I feel like I have my career in a much better place. I wouldn’t say it’s totally where I wanted to be. But it’s definitely, I feel like I’m on track now. And that I have a clear line of sight of where I’m where I’m going in my career. But what’s suffered as a result of that is my own health. So that’s my focus for this year. And on top of trying to, you know, get myself to the next level and do all that sort of good work and work. But it’s something I love about your coaching style, and about what we do in the leaders club is that it’s not just about work. It’s about that balance between everything. And for me that balance have probably been off for a really long time. And now I’m like, okay,
16:49
amazing. I love it. I love it. I love it, and what how are you doing it then? So like, you know, you’re focusing on your health? Well, you’re also making big strides in your career, right? You’re also pushing yourself at the same time. So it’s like, you’re you’re like coming up on two streams at the same time simultaneously, as well as being a mom. And, you know, you said you’re managing time zones, and then you’re in the membership as well. And like, obviously, as Lisa said, you have to invest time if you want to see the return. So how do you manage it all, Lisa?
17:20
One thing I’ve gotten much better at is scheduling. So now myself and my husband sit down on a Friday evening, and the two of us together work calendars, and we go, okay, who’s the one next week who is working from home, I’m lucky I get to predominantly work from home. But there are days I have to go into the into the office. And so who can pick up who who needs to do Du Bois. And I blocked it out on my calendar. So if I’m the one who has to pick somebody up or drop them to training, I make sure I’m blocking that time mate. And I know myself, you know, the times that are important for my kids. And so I’m very lucky in one sense in that they had a couple of hours in the morning where my US colleagues aren’t online. So I use that time to really play through my workload. So to kind of sit and focus and get work done, because I don’t have meetings. And then I know my afternoons are really busy with meetings. So it’s about looking at my calendar and looking at my day and the week ahead and going, Okay, who needs to go where and what needs to happen?
18:20
And would you have done that before?
18:23
Not I wouldn’t have used my calendar in the way that they do. Now, I probably would have kept it all in my head, you know, like, it’s kind of To Do List of like, okay, next week did that and then like missed off, and then you feel bad, because you forgot about piano lessons or whatever was supposed to happen. And so now we have like, I have my Work calendar. And I use that more to block out time if I need to block out time and we do a better job of things. Like if we’re both going to be off site for a day using the slow cooker to cook the dinner, you know, that kind of stuff. So you’re not coming home. And like I said, health is my number one focus this year. So that involves making and making sure we’re all eating healthily. So you’re not coming home going off. We just throw pizza in the oven because everybody’s tired and nobody knows what we want to eat. So it’s like no, look, it’s me. It’s in the slow cooker. Yeah,
19:15
I love it like and like that is the key. Like when people ask me the same question like how do you do it all like you’ve got a business you’ve got three children, it’s literally down to planning. And I think it’s because it’s boring. Planning is not fun, we kind of put it off and I love that you’re actually doing that now and I wanted to ask you a question because I’ve heard this before as well. I always advocate as you know, for putting personal appointments in your work calendar because for me, everything needs to be in the one place. But I’ve spoken to people before who feel like they shouldn’t put like gym time or a walk in their calendar. Like I will have walk in my calendar I’ll have like, everything goes on my calendar, because they feel like their work calendar should just be for work. What would you say? Like
19:57
say for me personally? If it’s not all in one place, and what happens is I double booked myself. So I will book, a work meeting when I’m supposed to be somewhere else, whether that was go for a walk, or whether it was pick up a cage or whatever, and then you, you end up being stressed. So, for an exam, my son wanted to start soccer practice on a on a Friday. I have a Blackberry in my calendar every Friday that I am out of office for that hour to bring him to so and if somebody tries to put a meeting in there I go, No, I can’t I made them office, I can meet you after I can meet you before. You know, and I’m very lucky. I’m very flexible working. I know, it’s not always possible, you know, particularly if you’re working in manufacturing, and you’re on site, and you have to be on site between certain areas. I don’t have that restriction. So I suppose that probably makes it a little bit easier. And I’m very grateful for that, that I have that sort of flexibility where I work. But yeah, I think if it’s not all in one place. And again, when we did the work around want to add value. I said my number one value was my family. Yes. I wasn’t planning for them. I wasn’t scheduled being I said they weren’t my number one priority. But that’s not how I was showing up.
21:17
You are now Right?
21:18
Yeah. So now it’s all about, you know, blocking, and scheduling the time and making sure that their needs are being being met. And they understand. I mean, my kids are older as well. So it’s a little bit easier now that they’re not toddlers running around anymore. But yeah, so that’s really helped me.
21:39
So we need to celebrate. You know, me now like but honestly, it leases like, here she goes again. But honestly, right? You just think about what you’ve just shifted right? In the last few months, you weren’t really exercising or taking care of your health, you were beating yourself up in your head, you were saying family was number one, but you weren’t being present. And you are, you know, debulking yourself. Fast forward, you are now like literally taking the time back, you’re getting more organized, taking the time to plan. You’re doing our 360 degree Success Scorecard every month, you’re using the accountability, you’re using the tools, you’re cooking healthy for your family. And at the same time, we haven’t even talked about this your you find more confidence to start having conversations at work right about your more your career aspirations, but more senior people. So like, honestly, you’re a powerhouse, you’re a power.
22:35
So I’m not sure I go that far, at least even thank you.
22:41
Me, you are you are going amazing. Okay, you really, really are. So let’s talk about career just before we wrap up. So you said before we start, you’re just talking off air about the confidence, you have now to start really advocating for yourself and having those conversations with more senior people. Whereas before, you just wouldn’t have had the courage to do it. So tell us a little bit about what’s going on there.
23:02
So for me, again, it was always that fear of driven definitely by people pleasing? Well, they will only to ask they don’t want me to say and or lobby to starving them. Bla bla bla, since sort of joining and getting more confidence, like I’ve gone over to the states and like actively asked for one to one for VPS. And then, you know, pitched ideas. And that’s not what I would have done previously, ever. What
23:33
would you have done previously all
23:35
kept the idea in my head just assured that they will want to hear us why would they? And that sort of stuff is is gaining traction, because now I’m being seen as a different type of person. Because, okay, the idea may or may not fly. And that’s not the point. I guess that was always my perception in the past was like they don’t like it, then they’re gonna think badly. But no, they’re like, oh, looks, this person is thinking about these sorts of things, or actually, I’m thinking in that kind of mindset, I suppose. And the other thing is, on my one to ones having the conversations I want to have rather than thinking my boss wants to have Yeah, you know, I have a lot of time for the organization I work for and for my my senior leaders, they have been they have been great to me when I was too much overthinking, and not saying actually, this is what I want. That’s what I want to do.
24:35
And I think that’s a mistake a lot of people make and one to ones as they go in expecting that their manager or leader is going to you know, it’s they’re in control of the meeting, whereas really like that is your time with them. So you’ve got to get really clear on what how you’re going to optimize and how what do you actually want to get from that time, right?
24:52
Yeah. And I think the mistake people make is that it’s their manager’s job to get them promoted. It’s not it’s your For us, it’s your job to say that you if you don’t let them know that that’s what you want to do. They’re not mind reader’s, they’re not going, they’ll just think, Oh, she’s fine, she’s happy where she is doing the thing she loves. And so until you verbalize it and say, I want to get to the next level, or I want to take on more responsibility. And the other thing I’ve learned from you and from 316, was, again, it’s not because you know, I’ve been here so long, or I think I deserve it, you know, I, I have learned these new skills, and I think I can take on this responsibility, or I’m going to do all this extra work. And that’s why I deserve a promotion, rather than showing them that you’re going to add value to their business, because that’s what any leader wants to hear how you’re gonna add value to their business.
25:53
Exactly, exactly. And can you tell me, Lisa, like, have there been any new opportunities and things that have come your way, as a result of this new kind of phone confidence?
26:03
I definitely think it’s opened more doors in work, it’s given me more visibility, and at a much more senior level than I would have had before. And I have actively. So we’re a global organization. So I’m actively pushing to get certain projects located in Ireland, and highlighting the benefits of locating here and, you know, the great workforce and all that sort of the stuff that we have here. So, again, I don’t know if I would have had the confidence to go forward with those sorts of ideas before, and whether the business makes the decision to locate things here or not, it’s fine. It’s, I don’t know how to explain it, you gain confidence by doing the action. The result is kind of comes after, but it’s the fact that you do it, if that makes sense when you’re pitching something, rather than the end results. And I think sometimes we focus so much on the end results that we don’t realize that doing those small, sending those emails, having those conversations, and every time you do it, you gain a little bit more confidence.
27:13
Absolutely. Girls go back and listen to what Lisa just said, therapy that is literally just even literally just shared the secret to success, right there. It is all about those small, little actions. And I think a lot of people and so the biggest myth is like, I’ll do it when I feel confident, or I’ll do it when you don’t get confident when you do the thing. Right. So I think I really commend you for pushing yourself out your comfort zone, because it’s, it’s it’s making traction for you and things are starting to move, right.
27:42
Yeah, definitely. And don’t expect it to be perfect will be the other thing I would say to people. That’s and it’s okay, that it’s not perfect. Exactly. Nothing is perfect. And so it’s just taking those little steps day by day, will get you there eventually. To be there in a week. That’s exactly,
28:06
exactly. So I’ve one or two more questions before we wrap up. So I know that I’m going to be getting questions from people around 360. Now after listening to you, so I’m wondering like, I know, obviously, we have two groups, and you’re in the group for the senior managers who want to kind of progress to that director level. And then with the elite group, who are the directors all the way up. So I know you can only speak to the accelerator group. But who do you think that’s right for?
28:33
I think it’s right for any senior female leader who is really looking to get to the next level, or who is maybe struggling with how to do that, and how to or feels that I can’t do that. Because you know, because I have children or I couldn’t commit to that level or feel that, you know, people at that level have some magic superpower that I didn’t have. So therefore I can’t I can’t do it. If you’re sitting, questioning your ability, joining a group or getting a coach to help you kind of get over that self doubt. For me, the thing I love about the group is the network of women and the community part, but it’s the processes so okay, I’m a scientist. I’m a total. Me too. That’s exactly. And so I love that it kind of gave me a structure, like you said, you can look at all the stuff on Google, you can read any book, but having that structure and that focus for me. And the accountability piece, is really what’s driving me forward. So if you you’re sitting here listening to this thinking or I don’t know, I don’t know if I’d be able for the next level. I don’t know if I have time. I’m just so busy. You do have the time. You can get to the next level and you just need to invest in yourself. Oh, yeah, absolutely.
30:01
But it’s not as easy, right? I mean, like, I don’t know, like, I see different pipe types of people, I have some people who are like, Yes, I’m Yabba can’t wait to join, oh my god, I’m so grateful for this opportunity, let me in. And then what other people who are like, Oh God, I can’t invest in myself, I don’t have the money or not, I don’t have the money. I’m not sure if I can deserve to spend this on myself, or I don’t have the time I’m already doing a course on this project and work finishes. It’s all these kind of blocks that come up for people. Unusually, nothing really changes. Usually, that’s just the way it is all the time. So I’m curious, like, what would you say to the person who’s listening now who’s gone? Listen, I just don’t have time to invest in myself, I have all these busy jobs to do and I have my children, what would you say to them?
30:43
If not nowhere, if you’re not going to invest in yourself, now, you’re let’s look back and five years, somebody wants told me that the time will pass whether you do it or not. So whether you do that course or sign up for that thing, two years will pass and you’ll be two years older, will you be two years older, having invested in yourself and having gotten further down that that, that journey? For me, we only have one life? And one example are you setting for your family, for your children, if you’re telling them I’m not worthy of investments, you need to give that I have a daughter and a son and I want them to know I, you know, they’re the most amazing things and beings and the thing I’m most proud of in my life, but I want them to be proud of me and to say, oh, a mom thought it was okay to do that. So when I get to that point, it’s okay for me to do whatever that thing is that they want to do and believe in themselves. You’re making
31:41
me cry, like I actually cry on the podcast because that, oh my god, I’m crying in the podcast. It’s the truth, though. You’re actually making me cry. We do only have one. Like, I’m so glad that you shared that. I
31:53
spent so many years filled with self doubt and thinking that I wasn’t good enough. And I’m now in my mid 40s. And going, Jeeves, if I don’t do it now, I wish I had done it years ago. So for all those ladies listening, either don’t be like me and get to the HDRs or log back in 12 months or 24 months, we’re always going to be busy. You’re always going to be busy. Yeah. If you believe in something, you’ll prioritize it. So believing yourself?
32:27
Absolutely. Well, I’m just gonna take a minute to compose myself. For them. That was beautiful. It’s, it’s the truth. And thank you for sharing that wisdom with with our listeners here. And I suppose I know, people are probably going to be asking about signing up. So I’m pretty sure that the waitlist, the doors will be closed when you’re listening to this, but you will be able to join the waitlist. So if you go to 360, leaders club.com forward slash waitlist, you can sign up the way to the waitlist for 360. To be first to be notified when we open up spots, again, because I’m only opening the doors three or four times a year now because I really want to just dive deep in between kind of new members coming in. So you don’t have a couple of opportunities. So make sure you get on the waitlist if you’re interested. So Lisa, you know the podcast, I always ask these these questions, what is the best piece of advice you have ever received, as from
33:23
a former manager, and she said, if nobody knows how to do your job, you can’t get promoted. Or add your information, make sure you share it. When you get to senior manager level, make sure you have your succession plan in place. So when you move up, there’s somebody there to move in. Super powerful,
33:40
super powerful. And what about and I think you’ve just done it already, though, the best piece of advice that you’d like to give to people.
33:47
And if you don’t ask you don’t get so if you don’t ask the question, you will never get out sometimes getting the wrong answer is the answer. Or else you didn’t want, because it wasn’t meant for you in the first place. So absolutely.
34:04
Rejection is just redirection. Lisa, thank you so much for coming on the show. It’s been wonderful. I haven’t cried on the show in a long time. So the one who made me cry today. No, but honestly, I just really felt that was actually a really beautiful moment. Um, anything else you want to say before we finish up? No.
34:27
I mean, I if people are genuinely interested or have more questions that they want to ask me about the Leadership Club fees, I’m on LinkedIn, just message me if you want. I’m happy to talk to people.
34:40
